Very little is known about Cameron’s supposed plans for his scrapped Marvel project which was later redeveloped and became Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire but in a 2021 interview, he revealed that he wanted his version to be more grounded and realistic instead of being presented as just another superhero movie. Now, after over two decades, the official concept art for James’ Spider-Man film has surfaced online and it looks absolutely glorious. The art piece, drawn by the director himself features Peter Parker crawling on what appears to be an NYC building.The image comes from Cameron’s latest art book Tech Noir: The Art of James Cameron which came out in October 2021.
