As shown in the tweet below, new stills from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 3, titled March of the Star Cross, have been revealed, and it looks like Hueco Mundo has been overtaken. The episode will see Ichigo go face-to-face with the Quincy responsible for the destruction of Hueco Mundo, and that Quincy is Quilge Opie, the executive hunting captain of the first Jagdarmee of the Wandenreich, and also a member of the Sternritter with the designation “J”.
For those who haven’t read the Thousand-Year Blood War arc of Tite Kubo’s manga series, Opie possesses the power beyond what Ichigo has faced against in his trip throughout Hueco Mundo. Expect an intense fight between the Soul Reaper and the Quincy in the next episode. With Nel on his side, will Ichigo be able to take the powerful Quincy down? A major conflict is clearly building-up in the world of Bleach. Urahara warned Ichigo that the events happening in Hueco Mundo, the Soul Society, and the World of the Living are all connected. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 3 is set to premiere on Monday, Oct. 24. If you’re in the U.S., you can stream it on Hulu, and fans in other regions can stream it on Disney+.
