Chainsaw Man is undoubtedly the most highly awaited anime of the year, thanks to the explosive reception of its first teaser more than a year ago. Luckily, it looks like the adaptation is living up to the hype as the latest trailer promises action, violence, humor, and so much more.
We have been getting a lot of updates on Chainsaw Man and the latest one is Crunchyroll’s brief but promising synopsis for the anime. Check it out below. “Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as ‘Chainsaw Man’ – a man with a devil’s heart.” This is pretty much what people are already looking forward to in Chainsaw Man. Interestingly, the synopsis conveniently hides the details that could spoil the entire anime. Still, it gives us a rough idea of what to expect when the anime finally premieres next month. But how many episodes of Chainsaw Man can we expect this year? There have been reports that the anime will have 24 episodes which will be split into two cours. Stay tuned for more updates on this story. Chainsaw Man is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto and will star Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, Fairouz Ai as Power, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Captain Kishibe. The anime is set to premiere at midnight on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
