Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are the first (of many, hopefully) stars of the Netflix Marvel shows to take the big leap into the MCU. Cox first appeared as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home before returning in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Meanwhile, D’Onofrio reprised his role as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin in Hawkeye and is expected to return in Echo and Daredevil: Born Again.
The Daredevil stars are certainly welcome additions to the MCU but we have yet to see Matt and Wilson together. Luckily, we’re expecting to see just that in Daredevil: Born Again and Charlie Cox told GQ that he is already looking forward to working with Vincent D’Onofrio again. “He’s obviously a lovely guy, but more than that, he’s just such an extraordinary performer. He’s such a great actor,” Cox said. “To be able to work opposite him and show up for a day of filming and see what he brings to the scene-which is always so much richer and more nuanced and more interesting [than] you could even have imagined in your mind,” he continued. “I probably learned more from him about acting than I have from anyone else I’ve worked with. I think he’s made me a much better actor. Hopefully, I can learn more as we can continue working together,” Cox concluded. We’re glad to know that Charlie Cox enjoyed working with Vincent D’Onofrio and we can’t wait to see Daredevil and Kingpin together soon. Daredevil: Born Again has been confirmed for an 18-episode first season. It is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in early 2024.
