It turns out that Cavill has been pushing for a more faithful adaptation of The Witcher books but the show’s creative minds want to go a different route.Naturally, the reception to Cavill’s bombshell announcement has been generally negative, with a lot of folks not willing to accept Hemsworth as the new Geralt.
