Hogwarts Legacy will be bringing everyone back to the Wizarding World in an open world single-player action role-playing game where players could make they wizard dreams come true, at least, in a game, and attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A snippet of the gameplay has been dropped on the official Twitter account of Hogwarts Legacy as they tease the arrival of the second gameplay showcase happening on December 14, 2022, Wednesday, with the developer Avalanche Software and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The showcase of the second gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy will be hosted by Benjamin Snow. It teases a whole new perspective on broom fight, advanced combat, and the arrival of the Room of Requirement. It will be premiering on YouTube and Twitch with the availability of multilingual subtitles for everyone around the world.

Hogwarts Legacy will be set in the 80s following a fifth-year student at Hogwarts who starts later than the other students, and the said student has the key that could manipulate ancient magic that could tear the wizarding world apart. It remains a mystery how this forgotten magic has resurfaced and the player gets to unravel its secrets while interacting with familiar names in the wizarding world like The Fat Lady, Peeves, and Nearly Headless Nick. The narrative will also introduce a new character, the mentor of the player, Professor Eleazar Fig. Players of the game will get to meet villains like Victor Rookwood, the head of the Dark Wizards, and Ranrok, the head of the Goblin Rebellion. The showcase of the second gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy arrives on December 14, 2022, and the game is slated for an official release on February 10, 2023 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
