After the devastating news was revealed, everyone was distressed. Takina was worried, but this did not discourage her from trying to save Chisato. She decided to return to the DA to catch Majima, who might be able to help save Chisato’s life. Will this plan succeed or will viewers have to say goodbye to Chisato for good?
Is Lycoris Recoil Preparing for a Sad Ending?
Based on what happened in Lycoris Recoil Episode 9, there is a chance that the anime original is aiming for a sad ending. We are not sure if catching Majima will provide a cure for Chisato at all, or if Takina and the others will officially catch Majima. Therefore, there is a huge possibility that Chisato will die after two months. Even worse, Majima was able to kidnap Yoshi, giving the antagonist an advantage. There is a possibility that Majima and the other Lycoris agents will have to face each other as the series approaches its climax. On the other hand, another ending has been presented in the preview of Lycoris Recoil. Chisato wasn’t with the agents anymore, and she seemed to have a different life. She was living normally, but she seemed to be debating whether she should join the fight or not. There is a possibility that Chisato will still join the battle, considering how stubborn she can be. But this could put her life in danger once again, as it was revealed that simply running could drain her batteries faster. If Chisato joins the battle, she could die even before she could be saved. This would again lead to a sad ending as viewers will have to say goodbye to the beloved character. The only way the ending could be happy is if Chisato can be saved. But at this point, fans can only speculate as Lycoris Recoil does not have a light novel or manga version. There is no other content released yet, so supporters will have to wait for the next episode of Lycoris Recoil to find out what happens next.
