The movie was initially scheduled to premiere by May 2022, debuting within the same year as another hit Keanu Reeves movie, The Matrix Resurrections, but scheduling conflicts and the COVID-19 pandemic may have affected production.

The production for John Wick: Chapter 4 started on June 28, 2021, and ended by October 27, 2021. Principal photography was taken in various locations worldwide, starting in Berlin and Paris. John Wick Chapter 5: Will There Be a fifth John Wick Movie?
Yes, there will be a fifth John Wick movie. Lionsgate announced that John Wick: Chapter 5 was in development back in August 2020. The movie was originally set to be filmed back-to-back with John Wick: Chapter 4, the plan did not push through and was officially scrapped by March 2021.
