This voice actor is none other than Aoi Yuki, the voice of Tsuyu Asui in My Hero Academia. For the upcoming Cyberpunk anime, Yuki voices Lucy, one of the two main characters. Yuki is a veteran Japanese voice actor who has voiced a wide range of anime characters. While her role as Tsuyu is among her most popular, Yuki also has other well-known roles. Among these roles are Mami Nanami in Rent-a-Girlfriend, Madoka Kaname in Madoka Magica, Tanya Degurechaff in Youjo Senki, and Tatsumaki in One-Punch Man, among others. The series’ other main character is David who is voiced by KENN, another veteran Japanese voice actor. KENN’s popular roles include Jaden Yuki in Yu-Gi-Oh! Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an upcoming anime series by studio Trigger and CD Projekt RED. The anime is based on CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 video game, which itself is based on Mike Pondsmith’s Cyberpunk tabletop role-playing game. The anime is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi who is joined by Yoh Yoshinari handling character design and animation direction. Joining the staff as showrunner is Rafał Jaki from CD Projekt RED. Edgerunners’ story follows David, a street kid trying to survive in Night City. In the series’ events, David becomes an edgerunner – a mercenary outlaw. As an edgerunner, he’ll come across various characters from Night City, including netrunner Lucy. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners consists of 10 episodes and will release this September on Netflix.
