What Happened Before Parallel World Pharmacy Episode 6?
In Parallel World Pharmacy Episode 5, Daily Life at Parallel World Pharmacy and Cosmetics, within Pharma’s first month in his new pharmacy, he only had one customer named Jean, a sailor, who buys a cure for scurvy. Pharma’s mother, Beatrice, suggests that they could sell cosmetics but Bruno opposes the thought saying that the ladies who use face powder usually die young. Pharma knows primitive makeup usually has lead which could be toxic. Suddenly, a customer arrives, noble Chloe de Chatillon, who Pharma diagnosed with anemia due to bloodletting, a procedure to kame the skin look paler. With this, Pharma makes non-toxic make-up to moisturize and protect the face from sunburn. After that, customers flocked to the pharmacy wanting to buy the non-toxic makeup. Chloe, thrilled by what happened, offers to finance a separate shop where the cosmetics would be available. Pharma becomes the manager and the staff are all young females who lost jobs because they got children. Pharma puts up some policies on maternity leave which instantly made the female pharmacists loyal to him. Elizabeth, herself, is also amazed by the cosmetics, especially the lip gloss. She banned selling lead-based makeup. She advises Parma to slightly raise his prices so he would not cause the closure of other pharmacies.
