In Andor Episode 5, Cassian finds himself in the middle of a dangerous rebel plot involving a heist on an Imperial garrison. The mission is to steal the payroll and although it sounds like the type of crime that small-time rebels would do, it’s actually part of something a lot bigger. It is revealed that Senator Mon Mothma is involved with the plan and is receiving help from Luthen Rael. Although Cassian himself doesn’t know this, the theft of the payroll catches the attention of Imperial Security Bureau Supervisor Dedra Meero who begins to suspect there’s something bigger happening here. The episode once again takes us to Luthen Rael’s shop on Coruscant where eagle-eyed fans have noticed something interesting on display. It has been pointed out that Luthen’s store has a Jedi Holocron as well as a Sith Holocron.
Both the Jedi and Sith holocrons are important to each faction. They are very secure and often used to contain sensitive information. Considering that only the Jedi Council has access to their Holocrons, it is a curious thing to find in Luthen’s possession. The Jedi and Sith Holocrons are not the only awesome items we noticed in Andor Episode 5. It also looks like there are some interesting artifacts from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Andor Episode 5 is titled The Axe Forgets. The next episode of the Star Wars series has not yet been given an official title but is already expected to premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
