As most of you know by now, Leslie Grace’s Batgirl film was the first victim of WB Discovery’s plans to reorganize the DCEU. According to reports, the film’s 60% test screening rating was the main culprit that led to the project getting axed. Despite the disheartening cancelation of the film, it looks like WB still wants to keep the actress on board and potentially start with a clean slate.According to a report from Variety, Warner Bros. Pictures Group chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy are hopeful that they’ll be able to secure a new deal with Grace which would see her don the Batgirl costume in multiple projects.
