While he’s been part of high-profile project likes The Suicide Squad and Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw, we can also expect to see him in his latest survival thriller, Beast. So when is Beast coming to Netflix? Here’s what we know about the movie right now:
When Is Beast Coming to Netflix?
Beast has already premiered in movie theaters around the country last Friday, August 19th. The movie is also scheduled for a theatre release in the UK on Friday, August 26th. Unfortunately, this is the only way to watch Beast at the moment. You will have to go to a movie theater, buy your tickets, and watch with everyone else. With so many movies now becoming available on streaming platforms, it is on the horizon for Beast. But given that it is a Universal production, it won’t be available on Netflix anytime soon. In fact, a deal between Netflix and Universal was made in 2021, which allows its movies to be streamed on the platform too. Unfortunately, the deal also says that “Netflix will also license rights to the full Animated and Live Action slate from UFEG about 4 years after release as well as rights to select titles from Universal’s vast movie library.” With this agreement in place, we won’t get to see Beast on the streaming platform at least until 2026. So if you’re keen on watching this movie, your best chance is to go to a movie theater and catch it while it’s still airing. Another option is to keep an eye out for the movie’s availability on Peacock, which will be anytime between October and December 2022. The movie will likely be available on that platform for 18 months before heading to Starz.
