Despite what the critics think, the 365 Days movies proved to be popular on the streaming service, and many fans from all over the world have watched all three movies on Netflix. Will there be a fourth 365 Days film?
365 Days: This Day and The Next 365 Days were filmed back-to-back in 2021, so it’s not surprising that they were both released in the same year. The third movie, The Next 365 Days, was just released on Aug. 19, and it didn’t provide a clear ending. It’s unclear if Laura ultimately ends up with Massimo and Nacho, and there was too much music, without much closure between Laura and Massimo. With that in mind, a fourth movie could be made to finally give this erotic movie series a proper ending, but at this point, Netflix doesn’t seem to have any plans. However, don’t lose hope yet. Michele Morrone, who played Massimo Torricelli, has taken to Instagram to share a cryptic post that seems to hint the possibility of a fourth 365 Days movie. “The end of something is always a little bit sad.. but.. who knows…," Morrone said in a post accompanied by a couple of images of his character from the 365 Days movies. The post sparked a lot of speculation among his fans who see it as a major hint that 365 Days 4 could be in the works at Netflix.
Why 365 Days 4 probably won’t happen at Netflix
As mentioned above, the three 365 Days films are based on the three books written by Blanka Lipińska, so it’s unlikely that there will be a fourth movie since there’s currently no fourth book. Despite the movies’ massive global viewership, the film’s negative reviews could affect Netflix’s decision to confirm 365 Days 4. Movie critics who took the time to review The Next 365 Days were harsh. On IMDb, the third movie received a 3.3 average rating from 86,000 users. For now, don’t get your hopes up for 365 Days 4.
